Ozempic Lawsuits?!

We need to see if it's actually causing these problems. Keep these things in mind:

1. Tons of people use this medication. Even if it's 2000 cases, it's still a small amount of users.
2. I think diabetes/losing weight fast can cause some of these issues already. So it might not be the drug itself triggering it.
3. People like to sue in the US. It doesn't mean they are right until the court makes a decision.
4. The studies show this family of drugs is safe. Semaglutide has been around for over a decade.

I've been following groups online about these meds for a while now. The dumb stuff people do with them is wild.

I bet a lot of people suing messed up somehow or ignored side effects.

Like, I saw one lady who ended up in the ER after passing out from throwing up. She admitted she was eating like nothing for 2 months and still kept taking the shot. Another lady kept taking her shots even though she was having bad stomach problems... because she was losing weight!

I totally agree that people are abusing it. Plus, what were they like *before* they started taking it? We aren't exactly healthy specimens. Even with the side effects, they were probably getting healthier, but they couldn’t stick with it.

I thought the same thing when reading the article. Those issues can happen when losing weight anyway. The stomach problems make me question how people are using it.

I saw the EU approved a higher dose of Wegovy - 7.2mg weekly. I wonder if that will mean the Ozempic dose will go up too?

I hope so. It really does lose effectiveness over time. I've been on it for over 5 years now.

I was just reading about how the FDA is asking for comments on compounding pharmacies. Seems like they might be trying to restrict them more. Thought some of you might be interested.

Where did you see that?
