Started at a small amount back in November, held there two months, then moved up in January and again in February. Real results didn't show until reaching that final increase. My A1C barely budged from 8.5 to 8.2 during the lowest phase, but between the February bump and June it dropped all the way to 6.5.
Diabetic for roughly a decade now, and it stayed under control until pregnancy threw everything off. After giving birth, my previous medications stopped working the same way, so I switched over once my son turned three, after cycling through a couple options that left me feeling awful with unpredictable highs and lows. This latest medication's been genuinely effective so far.
Weight loss wasn't really the goal starting out, though I still had roughly 18 lbs of pregnancy weight left. Dropped a little at the lower dose without noticing much, but once I reached the full amount, the weight actually started coming off.
I'm a small-framed woman, just over five feet tall with a petite build, and weighed around 110 before pregnancy. Started this medication closer to 126, and I'm currently down to 108.
