Ozempic making people blind?!

For me, cannabis seems to shut off the Sema effects temporarily. The munchies take over, and I overeat. Not fun the next day! My wife is on tirz and says edibles take an hour longer for her. I use cannabis to combat nausea, so maybe that's something to consider.

had the same thing with ozempic plus projectile vomiting on the side of the highway multiple times. switched to metformin, zero side effects, lost 130 pounds.

On Wegovy for 3 months now, down 40 lbs. Mostly good but figuring out digestion stuff. Weird thing though—when I sit with my legs crossed I get a sore knee now because there's less padding! Also my butt hurts faster on hard chairs. Has anyone else had weird side effects like that?

Patent protection is the mechanism that allows the original manufacturer to recoup development costs before generics can enter the market. The standard period is twenty years from filing, which does not align neatly with approval timelines. The expiration window matters for when compounded alternatives become legally clearer as well.

The NAION signal is real but extremely rare in the data - the confounding factor is that type 2 diabetes independently elevates eye disease risk, which makes the causal direction hard to establish. The celebrity/shortage narrative is a separate issue from the pharmacovigilance question.

The markup frustration is real - paying this much out of pocket and then reading a blindness lawsuit headline is a different experience than it would be for a cheap generic.
