Greasy, fatty foods are worth avoiding in general, separate from this medication entirely. But specifically on this one, the stomach really won't tolerate them well at all.
Electrolytes and protein first, both solid ideas. Actually doing them consistently? That's a different story, ha.
Expect food preferences and tolerance to change a lot too. There's this odd craving for ground beef dishes lately, burgers, tacos, that sort of thing. Poultry barely registers by comparison.
Expect to be bringing home leftovers from restaurants often. Sometimes a single dinner out ends up covering three separate meals later.
Interest in alcohol, if that's normally a thing, might fade or disappear altogether. Never drank heavily to begin with, and these days a poured drink often goes unfinished, standard now. One exception happened right before a medical procedure though, two drinks got ordered and just the second one stayed mostly full, ha.
Work hard to avoid losing muscle mass. Protein, absolutely. Strength training, definitely.
Don't move the dose up until the current amount stops working, whether that's weight, blood sugar, or anything else. Stayed at the smallest amount for several months, then the next level for about the same, even while still losing weight at each stage.
