Ozempic: My lifeline!

In early '23, I had a procedure to open up a blocked artery, and that let me start exercising and drop some weight after years of inactivity. I was around 300 lbs when I began cardiac rehab in March. I managed to drop almost 50 lbs in about half a year, but then I hit a wall and couldn't lose any more. After about 3-4 months of frustration, my doc suggested Ozempic. I started it in March of this year. Since then, I've lost another 50+ lbs, getting me to my goal weight of 200 (I'm 6'6").

I'm definitely a big believer in Ozempic.

That's amazing! Congrats to you and your ticker for hanging in there on this journey. Sounds like you've got a great medical team looking after you.

And I bet it feels great to be able to see your feet again! 😁

I went from about 230 to 130 in just over a year and have been holding steady for about 6 months now. It's so awesome to move without struggling and fit comfortably in any chair!

I'm so happy for you! I'm also a fan of Ozempic. I've been on it for about 5 months now. I started at 335 and I'm now around 275... 60lbs gone!!!! I’m also doing keto. I want to get to 200.

I saw someone on Reddit who had amazing results. It's a tough journey though! Congrats to everyone here making progress.

Keep it up, you'll get there! The right diet makes all the difference.

It's amazing how much happier people look when they lose weight and get healthy. It's not just about appearance, it's about overall well-being. Keep up the great work, everyone!

this is a forever thing, no rush. took us our whole lives to build up the weight so it takes time to lose it. you'll probably be on this for a while so no hard deadline needed. what else would you do with the next 3 years anyway? enjoy the journey and work on yourself mentally, weight just comes off eventually.
