Ozempic: One year and feeling great!

Hong Kong Yanpep International
Started at two sixty, now at one fifty nine. Took so long to get here. My body shape is hard to dress for. Medium fits my lower half fine or loose, but my ribs become too tight. Large top too loose around chest and back. Want something cute for summer but tired of trying things that don't fit!

One year is a real milestone! The alcohol sensitivity thing is so common and honestly kind of a gift - my body just signals more clearly now when something isn't serving it. No adverse reactions worth noting on my end, though the first couple of months had some fatigue. Happy for you!

constipation is such a common one that it feels almost expected now, but the dry eye thing catches people off guard - it comes up enough that it's probably real and not coincidence. staying on top of fluids and using lubricating eye drops tends to help with both, funnily enough

the starting-at-1mg-without-issues experience is genuinely rare and worth noting - the conventional titration schedule is there to catch the people for whom 1mg out of the gate would be severe nausea or worse. the food-on-the-stomach rule being your main management tool at that starting dose is a good data point for people who are anxiety-spiraling about what to expect

the four-year 0.5mg story through peri and into post-menopause is one of the more interesting longitudinal data points about long-term low-dose use - the 40kg loss with muscle gain over that timeline suggests the dose was producing real ongoing effect without the escalation pattern most short-term protocols follow. staying at the dose that works rather than escalating is a strategy that gets less attention but has real supporters in the long-term user community

Really appreciate this, feels a bit more hopeful now honestly! Can push through knowing it eventually improves. Also just started my cycle this morning, so wondering if that's part of why things felt more intense lately.
