Ozempic one year mark!

Hi all! One year of Ozempic today. I'm 5'8". Started at 280 pounds, now I'm at 237. So, 43 pounds down. My goal is 185. Woo!

That's awesome! I've had a similar experience. I lost like, 55 pounds the first year, then gained maybe 10 back over the next six months. I'm back at it, counting calories, and down another 20. So, about 65 pounds total in two years. Also, happy ozempic-iversary since we seem to be start date buddies! I'm 47, 5'7", started at 255 lbs, now at 187, ultimate goal 158 lbs. Congrats to you!

Thanks! Lab_Mouse_4421 I think it varies a lot, but I lost steadily, even if it wasn't super fast. I'm happy with it.

Everyone reacts differently to the medication. Some people lose a lot really fast, and some lose slowly. It also depends on your starting weight and other health factors. Don't get discouraged if your journey isn't exactly like someone else's!

50 pounds is a LOT. if you can't see it, take progress pics! Same undies each time. The changes sneak up on you. Plus body dysmorphia is real.

I agree with H-Town_Hottie. Take some pictures now, and then in a month or two. It's hard to notice small changes day to day!
