Ozempic prices are insane!

Guys... living in Australia has its perks. Our healthcare system actually cares about people. I only pay like $8 for my meds. Can you believe what you guys pay in the States?

Trust me, American politicians are all in the pockets of Big Pharma. Doesn't matter if they are Democrats or Republicans. We are screwed either way when it comes to healthcare.

The Democrats controlled Congress for a while there, but did we see any cost reductions? Nah, all the bigwigs are invested in this mess somehow, no matter their party affiliation.

I'm an American with diabetes, and I get it for around $25 a month using a coupon, not even my insurance. After the coupon, it's about $60.

And calling people "stupid" for what they pay is uncalled for. This isn't our fault.

So, what's the secret to not being "stupid" about Ozempic prices? What are your suggestions? Because right now, it feels like I'm getting robbed blind.

Just FYI, I pay like $35 with my insurance because I have diabetes.

For those of you paying out of pocket, have you looked at using GoodRx or the manufacturer's savings card? They can sometimes bring the cost down significantly.

I get confused with all the different medications....I have a friend who was quoted $4,000 for a 6 month supply of Ipamorelin here in the states! Is that like....normal??

$4000 for Ipamorelin is insane! I'd suggest looking at online peptide sources; it's much cheaper than going through a clinic. Keep in mind to do your research and find reputable vendors.

I use a coupon and also ask my pharmacy to run it as self-pay instead of through my insurance. My insurance deductible is so high that the coupon ends up being cheaper.
