Non Scale Victory, laugh out loud! (49F) I've recently shed around 30 pounds, and thankfully, I'm feeling more confident. Confident enough to pursue some... male companionship. Tonight, everything seemed perfect, so I showered, groomed, and applied lotion. I'm a grown woman, and I was totally ready to have some fun. But, as soon as I arrived, a terrible gas attack struck! I had to excuse myself before anything could happen! Now, I'm laughing and burping alone in my car! Perhaps it was divine intervention, but I had to share this story somewhere.

OMG, thank you for sharing! That's the best laugh I've had all day. I had to read this to my husband; he's dealt with my... emissions a few times. It's a nightmare. Lol

That’s hilarious! Good for you for trying, and there’s always next time! Just skip whatever food caused the issue beforehand, lol.

Oh man, after my divorce years ago, my ex had the kids on weekends. The quiet was the worst. I'd meet my friend at a bar after work. To keep me from doing anything too crazy I wouldn't shave my legs so I'd remember I'm only half-groomed and keep my hands to myself. 😆

Thanks for sharing your story. I'm seeing a few comments about accidents. Adding that to the list of possible side effects -- we're all going through the same thing -- we can just blame the medication, haha.

Yep! It's pretty amazing how effective it is, though. With serious lifestyle changes (diet and exercise), therapy, and self-care, I've managed to drop over 100 pounds in under a year, and I'm still working at it!

That's so inspiring! It's great to hear about the positive impact these medications can have when combined with a healthy lifestyle. Any tips on minimizing muscle loss during weight loss? I'm trying to figure out the right exercise balance.

Wow

That's amazing! Congrats on your success! It's so motivating to see others achieving their goals. And like Shape-Boss said, any tips on the muscle loss issue?

I can't believe this is working!!!

I've spent most of my life trying different diets. I cannot believe this is actually working!!! I do my part (tracking calories, protein, water), and the medication is making that possible. I'm down 35 pounds in about 3 months.

Keep going. We can do this!
