Ozempic: Size 20 to 10!

Sharing some before and after pics, taken between last November and this August when I started the Ozempic. The newer ones are from this past month.

I've dealt with PCOS for years, plus some hypermobility stuff. I finally decided to try this, and it's like I lost a whole person! I'm even trying out a new sport, something I never thought I could do without hurting myself.

This medication has been a game-changer. It's undone years of struggling to lose weight and feeling like something was off. I realized that most people don't think about food constantly.

I hope others have the same success! I was lucky and didn't have many side effects, just some dizziness and a little nausea.

Thanks for posting! Just a reminder about the rules: no discussing unapproved stuff, and no selling anything. Don't respond to private messages offering meds. They aren't endorsed here.

If you're new, check out the FAQ. This is just to help, not to stop discussion.

That's amazing! You look fantastic, and it must feel even better to have reached such a healthy goal. Congrats!

You look pretty young... early 20s? How did you keep your skin so firm after losing so much weight? Did you do anything special to avoid needing skin removal?

That's an unbelievable change. Going from a size 20 at 264lbs to a size 10/12 is huge, and you can really see the difference in the photos. You look so much more confident now. These kinds of updates give so many people hope that big changes are possible. Would you mind if I shared this on the community? It's a sub where people post their progress pics, and your transformation would be really inspiring. You could also post it there yourself if you'd rather.

That is a very relevant concern. Rapid weight loss can sometimes lead to loose skin, especially with significant changes in body mass.

I'm down about 40lbs since starting GLP-1s, and some people are starting to tell me to stop losing weight. My doctor says I'm fine, but it's weird. Anyone else experience that?

I'm still pretty young, which probably helps. I also made sure to drink lots of water and use moisturizer with collagen and vitamin E. I also did some light weight training to try and build some muscle as I lost the weight.

People often give unsolicited advice. If your doctor is happy with your progress, that's what matters. They're probably just used to seeing you a certain way.
