Ozempic under fire, again?

Ugh, great. As someone with diabetes who finally got their life back with this medication because the usual stuff didn't do anything for me, this is just fantastic. :/

Like it wasn't expensive enough already! This will probably mean even fewer insurance companies will agree to cover it. I seriously cannot stand that guy.

Okay, so maybe I'm onto something... does this mean we should invest in these drug companies soon? I bet he'll change his mind not long after. Just waiting till he posts "buy now" again.

As someone with LADA, Ozempic is the only thing that has drastically impacted my A1c. It's a game changer.

Just so we are all on the same page, not only are there tariffs on medications, but he demanded that PBM reform be removed from the budget bill right before leaving office. He also removed the ability for Medicare/Medicaid coverage, which would have given more people access. Private insurance usually follows suit. He has let the TROA act sit, cut research funding, and raised insulin costs. We are under attack!

Nice work! Thought I'd ask a few things. What should folks expect starting out? What's your diet like now? Any effects on your mood? And any other tips? Really well done.

Please, please let this work out. I have type 2. This med has really changed my life! I feel so much better. I'm shedding pounds and finally have the energy to do more, which is also helping regulate my glucose levels. I don't have insurance, so paying out of pocket is super expensive. Why is it so much more costly in the US?

Ozempic is made in North Carolina, so hopefully, that will help. If not, Mounjaro is at least US-based.

Saw some rumors that generics might be coming to Canada as early as next year, maybe that could help drive prices down eventually, even here.

I saw that Sacha Baron Cohen is supposedly using Ozempic for his superhero body. Seems like everyone in Hollywood is on it.

Oh, I suspect it's more than just Ozempic. Probably some TRT and other stuff in the mix. They can afford the best doctors and trainers.
