Ozempic update - feeling good!

Hey everyone!

It's week 16 for me on Ozempic. I started with 0.25mg for a month, and then moved to 0.5mg.

Starting weight was 235lbs/106.6kg. Current weight is 203.4lbs/92.3kg. So, about 32lbs down so far!

I've been really fortunate because I haven't experienced any bad side effects while on Ozempic. I’m feeling great and getting my confidence back. I actually tried on an old skirt I wore around the holidays, and it's way too big on me now! A nice little win!

I got my script renewed last week with the 1mg pen, but I think I'll stick to 0.5mg this week since I'm traveling for work and don't wanna deal with any possible sickness if I upped the dose.

Next week I'm going to try 0.75mg and see how it goes.

Super happy with how things are progressing!

Good luck to everyone on their journey! 😊💪

Amazing work! A drop of 32 lbs is fantastic. But the best part is the improved health! Your body and brain are probably already feeling so much better. The dose increase plan is exactly what I usually recommend. I went from .5 to 1 too fast and my vacation was ruined. Definitely wait until after your trip. If you were still losing like 2 lbs a week, I wouldn't increase the dose at all. Good luck and congrats!🎉🍾🎈

Wow! Your stomach shrank! Go girl 💪😁 I dont seem to have the loose skin either. I guess it doesnt happen to everyone. You've lost so much on .25 & .5! Thats great

Okay, I'm new to this whole semaglutide thing, but seeing your progress is really encouraging. I just took my very first shot this morning, hoping it can help with some inflammation I've been dealing with. Fingers crossed it helps with weight too!

Sharing my GLP details with people who matter to me, here, and those I want to help. But plenty feel entitled to my medical history. Been fat-shamed and treated badly before. Won't apologize for using these meds or call it cheating. Took 18 months to lose 74 at about 1 per week. GLP doesn't make weight loss easy - it makes it possible.

Heaviest at 163 kilograms in the picture, undiagnosed diabetes. Got the diagnosis two months later. On the medication six months, lost 13. Still at 150, way to go. At point-five milligrams because jumping to one means weeks two and three are unmanageable, side effects win out. Feel better moving, less back pain. Want to handle the higher dose but not suffering.

On ozempic I felt consistently stuffed. Switched to tirzepatide and lost that feeling. Now I eat till too full and think about food constantly even when not hungry. Sometimes grab junk. On second week of 5mg. First week was dizzy but better now. Wondering if 7.5 helps with the food thoughts. Getting enough protein and water daily.

Could she be going through perimenopause? If she's around your age she'd be in that window. Really glad you're doing so much better! I'm 51 and struggling with low energy too - working on fixing it myself.
