Ozempic Victory!

I've been taking Ozempic for my type 2 diabetes for just over a year, and I'm on 1 mg. My blood sugar is way better, and I've lost almost 45 pounds. I feel so much better, both physically and mentally! When I see myself in the mirror, I smile and think, "Hey, I'm doing pretty good for 65!"

Wow! You look fantastic, way younger than your age. I'm only down about 28 pounds after a year – a slow loser – and only a few years behind you. This gives me some hope! We all know it doesn't just fall off. You have to put in the work. Congrats!

I was put on Ozempic last year when another med triggered my hereditary diabetes. Honestly, I didn't even know Ozempic was a thing until South Park did a special on it! COVID and some tough times had me headed toward 300+ pounds. Now, a year later, I'm the skinniest I've ever been, staying steady between 185-190. It feels amazing!

I have been on 2 mg of Ozempic for a couple years due to really high glucose levels. I went from a starting A1C of almost 10 to something much more manageable. Also lost a good amount of weight! Part of it was my medication and part of it was my insulin production.

All great news! It's just that it's well controlled with medication. Keep up the good work.

2mg stopping to suppress cravings while still keeping A1C in check is such a specific situation. Staying on it just for the blood sugar benefit even when the weight piece isn't responding anymore is actually really valid. The OP getting both is the ideal outcome - hope you find a path to the same thing on the hunger side!
