Ozempic weight loss: anyone get shade?

started at 188 and trying to get down to 125 or 130 since that's a healthy spot for me. i'm 47, 5'2, and the dose bump is helping with hunger again finally. been upping my workouts too and hoping this breaks through this plateau i've been stuck on.

been on 0.5mg since peri, now post-meno, almost 4 years. lost 40kg plus built muscle. holding steady the last year and a half. no menopause side effects, barely any constipation. DEXA showed zero visceral fat and 17% body fat. now 55

congrats on the loss btw! i did keto years ago and went from 230 to 179, but my brain couldn't catch up lol. i was wearing 16-18 and thought a 14 would never fit. went to kohl's one random day and grabbed these junior plus size pants that only went to 14. when they arrived i was like absolutely not. then they buttoned and i was confused cause i still felt like my old size. even now pictures catch me off guard. honestly i'd say try the smaller size, either way you'll get there eventually!

The salty reactions usually come from people who tried through willpower alone and couldn't hold it - the medication working is the part that lands badly. The early lipase shift isn't the glycogen-water argument; that resolves by week 3.
