Pen looks a little full...normal?

Thanks for the insight, all new and kinda scary. How do you test with a syringe? Poke the end where the needle goes and press like normal?

Over 30 years I've seen one bad infection (friend needed antibiotics). Back in the day we'd reuse 22-gauge needles - basically jabbing yourself with a pencil. That guy was super clean about it too - alcohol pads, wiped before and after. So seems like it's pretty rare even with risks.

hospira's the gold standard, yeah. but if you can't get it, medical-grade sterile wfi works fine. keeps 28 days in the fridge if you're sterile with your technique.

Standard with all the pens - manufacturers build in overfill as a safety margin so you reliably get the labeled dose even with some loss in the delivery mechanism. The starting pens tend to have more visible residue because the concentration is lower, meaning more volume per dose. You got what you paid for.

Normal to be nervous about bumping up especially with little sleep. Some find staying lower longer prevents extra fatigue - might ask your doctor about a slower progression if you're concerned.

Hey, new to this and got a question. I'm on my second 5mg pen and after one injection it looks like what I've seen in pictures of pens after the second dose. That normal? The box got a bit damp in shipping but nothing seemed off. Just want to make sure I'm reading the situation right. Appreciate any insight.
