Peptide quality?

Feels like the last few months have brought a real drop in quality. The higher strength batch I picked up last month doesn't compare at all to the lower strength one from five months back. Quality's fallen off noticeably. Has anyone else run into the same thing?

Planning to try a particular peptide next based on some research I came across. Also currently using reta, though results haven't shown up yet.

How does anyone actually verify which supplement brands are trustworthy? None of it is regulated. Feels just as unpredictable as sourcing peptides honestly.

Could genuinely be that your particular batch was delivering way less active ingredient than labeled, and you basically just ended up self-titrating without realizing it. Known problem with certain compounded batches out there.

Wouldn't say I've noticed the peptide itself performing differently. That said, we've stuck with the same two sources consistently since they've held steady on order handling, service, and quality up to this point.

Did some digging on this and apparently certain batches of the fifth compound have turned up with essentially no active ingredient at all, so worth researching thoroughly before committing to it.

Mine's been acting up for a few days now. Had no clue shipping problems were even a thing, this is actually my very first order of this kind!

Still waiting to hear from a couple of people looking into whether that batch might be legit, just made at a Canadian plant that possibly cannot laser-etch QR codes, or some other factory that does not usually make BAC. Funny, I only just finished my last vial of old hospital-grade BAC from 2024, and my 2023 stock, dated to expire in 2025, is next. Back when BAC was hard to find, I bought a big pile at around $80 a pack, figuring I would need it forever. Later I realized water and alcohol do not really go off, so now I use vials until empty, and that pile became a lifetime supply. Maybe I am unusual, but I say newcomers should always hold 3 to 6 months of proper BAC, so a supply disruption does not force overpaying.
