Pic popped up - wow!

I just had a memory pop up on my phone from last year. It's wild seeing the difference between then, at around 290, and now at 215. I still want to lose another 50 or so, but the progress in just one year is amazing!

I totally get that. Those old pictures can really hit you. Seeing how far I've come since starting injections is a great feeling.

That's fantastic progress, and you deserve to feel proud. I've been taking Mounjaro for about half a year, and I'm down to 180 from 195, but the visual difference in pictures is more impactful than the number. What's your target weight?

Thanks everyone! @Checkup, I'm aiming for around 150. It seems like a good healthy weight for my height. I'm curious, did you notice the change more in pictures than in the mirror?

That's a great question. I'm nervous about starting. I keep reading about side effects... but seeing everyone's progress is encouraging.

I think pics are where I see it the most honestly. Like I don't see it day to day, but side by side... huge. I started around 220, now I'm like 190. 30-ish gone.

I agree about the pictures! It's like I still see the 'old me' in the mirror sometimes. But then I look at photos from a few months ago and I'm shocked. Keep taking those comparison pics, @Witty_Log!

I agree with @PulseBTW445. The mirror can be deceiving. I've found that photographs really highlight the difference. You also might notice inflammation reducing as you lose weight.
