PT-141 for the wife...? Dosage?

Hey, everyone. My wife's getting older, and her sex drive isn't what it used to be. I've heard 1.0 mg of PT-141 might help. Will that work? Is nausea a common side effect? Should I start her with a lower dose, like 0.5 mg? Any help would be awesome.

When you're injecting something, especially something not prescribed, feeling sick to your stomach is the smallest worry. If something bad happens, like a severe allergic reaction, you could face serious legal trouble.

Um, AntAF has a point. O-O-Ozempic, can you confirm that your wife is aware of this, has consented, and you're just doing some preliminary research for her to review? Because I'm suddenly concerned that might not be the case.

In the United Kingdom, depending on circumstances, you will be in legal hot-water for a very unfortunate outcome. In the US, providing an unprescribed pharmaceutical agent could also result in felony charges.

Even if nothing fatal happens, it's still a bad scenario if she doesn't know about it. I am all for a clear statement like 'She wants to look into this and I'm helping her by gathering info' right at the beginning of discussions like these.

Have you considered a topical cream? Something like 'Scream Cream'? It's a prescription cream that's custom-made by a compounding pharmacy. My wife tried some from her sister, and it did seem to work.

Whether she's given consent or not, nobody should be injecting anyone else with a substance that hasn't been prescribed, even if they are married. At least in the UK, self-administering the injection shows intention.

Jeez. I go out for a bit and now we're into peptides for *that* kind of use... I've seen it all!

Honestly, I'd feel better answering this if your wife posted herself. I would be mortified if I found out my husband was posting about my sex life online. 😵‍💫

If she's given her full consent, it's imperative to START VERY LOW, as she might freak out at the physical effects. I started with just 0.25mg, and I got flushed and felt really hot within 15 minutes. I looked like I had a sunburn. The heat was super uncomfortable, and I was nervous (but also giggly) on the way to dinner. By the end of the meal, it had worn off.

Wow, I was asking on behalf of my wife because she isn't a member here. She brought it up, and I was like, 'What's that?' and 'Have you researched it?' I'd never give her anything without her knowing. I was curious because I was worried about potential side effects. She got it herself. I wanted to know what dose would be best. And just so you know, she'll be taking it herself. She's a grown woman. Her choice. I just wanted some advice to pass on to her.

Thanks.

I'd tell her to begin with a very small amount, and increase it gradually. My wife experimented with it herself, using only 1 mg instead of the typical 1.75-2 mg dose. In less than 15 minutes, she was really flushed and reaching for the allergy pills. While that's a common side effect, it was so bad for her that not only was there no intimate time, but she said she'd never try it again... so, starting much lower would be my advice.

The general consensus appears to be that you should start with a small dose (0.5 mg) to check tolerance. But, be aware that with such a low dose, she may experience adverse effects without any 'benefits'. There are several websites that offer dosing schedules. Search the forum; you'll find a few that are mentioned. Some are less popular than before. Use it no more than twice a week to avoid receptor desensitization. After the flushing and nausea, she probably won't want to use it much. Oxytocin is another option to look into for the bonding aspects.

Regarding the earlier part of this conversation, the forum's reluctance to assist you was justified. It should serve as a reminder to be mindful of how you frame things. Whenever you mention 'giving' a grey-market substance to someone else, it's going to raise red flags, regardless of whether it's a spouse, parent, or child. I'm not judging, but keep that in mind. You'd have gotten a completely different response if you'd said, 'My wife bought this, and I'm trying to get information on it' or something similar.

Might I suggest sermorelin for her... it's not PT-141 but it might help. Studies indicate that a 1mg dose of Sermorelin can give the pituitary gland a good kickstart, boosting growth hormone production. Seems like using about 500mcg nightly is the sweet spot for maximizing endogenous growth hormone release. another forum

I agree, it may be a better option to naturally encourage hormone production. I've read that Sermorelin is considered a milder option compared to others out there, but some people have good results with it.

I have heard about sermorelin... but some people react strangely to it... I saw someone say they got tingling in their feet... yikes! I'd rather stick with what I know.
