Quadruple threat or vaporware?

It does seem like a typical early-stage biotech play. They're showing promising Phase 2 data, have registered trials, hyped it up at JPM for funding, and have clear next steps into Phase 3. If those trials pan out (especially the muscle preservation part), it could actually shake up the oral obesity treatment scene.

They have listings on ClinicalTrials.gov. It's not just sitting around doing nothing. There are details on study designs, completion estimates into 2026, and the sponsor info. They presented Phase 2 info at conferences like ADA and ENDO, and claim to have significant weight loss *without* muscle loss thanks to the IGF-1 part. And there were announcements about Phase 3 programs focusing on durable weight loss and lean-mass preservation.

I agree that making press releases to drum up investment is a pretty common tactic. I would be a bit surprised if their "pie in the sky" results continue throughout the rest of the trials.

I'm just starting out with GLP-1s, so this is all new to me. I'm glad to hear people are able to lower their dosage for maintenance! I am hoping to lose some weight without breaking the bank.

That's encouraging! I'm on the lowest maintenance dose and it's still working for me.

I've read about people using research chems for things like ED. Is there really a loophole to get them legally? Seems risky.

Technically, they're legal to buy for *research* purposes, but not legal for personal use. But that's where the "loophole" comes in...

Also, why would they need synergy with tirzepatide or semaglutide? Shouldn't NA-931 be way better on its own?

That is a valid point! I didn't even considered that. It should blow the others out of the water.
