I just injected some Reta I had stashed in the back of my freezer for like, three years. Hoping it's still as amazing as I remember!

It's a long story, but basically, he was a really popular peptide source that disappeared after some legal issues. No one knows exactly what happened for sure.
 
I miss the old days... I remember getting some Sema from a source a while back and it did absolutely nothing. I had zero appetite suppression, no nausea, nothing. Turns out it was bunk. I'm glad this stuff still works after all this time!
 
Has anyone used a compounding pharmacy lately? I'm thinking of trying one since my usual supplier is out of stock on Tri-Mix. I've heard mixed things about the quality though.
 
I've used them before for ED meds, specifically a Quad mix. The prices were good and it came with everything I needed. I'm not sure about potency compared to others, but the convenience was awesome.

Building a multi-year supply buffer makes sense for supply security, but the 'keep finding more things to try' pattern is worth noticing separately - the security motivation and the novelty motivation produce similar behaviors but very different approaches to risk. Worth noticing which one is driving each decision.
 
the lab freezer as the official milestone of being in the hobby is one of the more accurate community self-assessments - once the home freezer is sharing space with ice cream and the stability window starts mattering, the upgrade makes practical sense. the cost per year of compound protection against temperature fluctuations is real value when you're holding meaningful inventory
 
the stockpile calculus gets complicated when you switch primary compounds - a decade of tirz and only two years of Reta is exactly the kind of imbalance that happens when you're planning for one compound and then find a better one. the R140 question is going to be interesting when it has more availability data behind it
 
the HGH in the refrigerator for 3.5 years loss is almost certainly a reconstituted working stock situation rather than lyophilized powder - reconstituted HGH has a much shorter stable window in the fridge measured in weeks, while lyophilized powder can hold at freezer temperatures for years. the critical question for the 3-year frozen Reta is whether it was stored as a lyophilized powder or as a reconstituted solution, since the stability profiles are dramatically different
 
the decades-in-the-freezer claim for lyophilized powder is supported by what we actually know about protein stability at frozen temperatures - the denaturation and degradation rates that reduce potency over time become extremely slow below -18C when moisture is excluded. the practical ceiling for most home freezers is more limited by the stability of the freezer environment than by the compound itself
