Restarting GLP-1s: My bad experience

Hong Kong Yanpep International
55 and post-menopausal and hitting exactly the target in about a year is a genuinely good result - the hormonal context at that stage typically makes loss harder and slower. The carefully titrated approach at a high dose without significant problems is good data for people who worry the medication won't work in that demographic.

The 3-week break without dose adjustment before restart is the specific cause of the 28-hour vomiting episode - the body had begun losing its adaptation and the full previous dose hit without the tolerance that had built up. The rule for any break longer than 10-14 days is to drop back at least one dose level for the restart.

Lost forty pounds on a certain compound a couple years back. Stopped due to pregnancy. Currently on a small amount now and results are finally beginning to show again. Side effects seem noticeably milder this time too.

If it helps at all, I lost some weight early on then plateaued for nine months straight. Maxed out sema first, then switched to triz and worked my way toward its ceiling too, zero pounds to show for that climb. Feels important to share stories like mine since most posts are the 'been on sema six minutes and already down 15lbs' type. Doesn't paint an honest picture of what most of us actually go through. The whole thing is a painfully slow grind, and depending on your body you might end up losing it all, part of it, or nothing. Don't quit. I haven't.

Exactly what happened to me. Things went smoothly until my amount increased, then I got hit with awful stomach pain, gastritis or something similar. Bad enough that I went through bloodwork and testing, convinced it was Crohn's or gallbladder trouble. Stopped taking it. Weight crept back on and now I'm restarting Sema, currently on my second shot. Planning to be far more cautious raising the amount this time. Anyone with tips, please share. And OP, you're looking fantastic by the way.
