Reta and short breaks

My partner and I have been running reta for nearly three months. Recently moved up to 4mg, five days since the last shot. We've got a week-long cruise kicking off soon, and we're debating skipping doses entirely until it wraps up. The all-you-can-eat spread is honestly half the reason people book these trips, ha. Has anyone else paused like this before? Does twelve days feel like enough time for appetite to bounce back, and once we're home does it make sense to just resume at the level we left off at?

Only side effect experienced was some queasiness lasting roughly a day. Eating less overall, though appetite hasn't disappeared entirely, just takes smaller amounts to feel satisfied. How soon is your trip coming up?

Been on two separate trips while using this medication. Had a genuinely great time both times! Ate whatever appealed, but stopped before feeling overly stuffed. Doesn't feel like anything got missed out on, and both trips marked the first time weight gain didn't happen afterward.

We split too. Grabbed the bigger reta vial to save a bit, both running an eight milligram weekly dose off it. Beats the expiration date that way. Still feels like the later doses are a touch weaker than the earlier ones, but that beats letting a smaller vial drag on longer.

Wouldn't consider skipping two weeks purely to eat more freely on a trip. Traveled somewhere warm back in March, stayed consistent with dosing, and ended up weighing less returning home than before leaving. Heading somewhere else next weekend for a week, planning to stay consistent then too.
