Took a ten-week break, seventy-four days to be precise, and restarted three days back.
YES, that pause absolutely reset my body's sensitivity to reta, so relieved! Still cautious given it's barely been three days, but this morning brought a stomach that feels notably fuller, digestion has clearly slowed back down again.
On the mental side, less certain, but starting yesterday there's a real sense that the constant chatter around food and the drive to eat have both quieted down. Grabbed a pint of ice cream last night, managed about four or five spoonfuls... and just thought, nah, that's plenty, and put it back in the freezer. That basically never happens for me. NEVER. Pulled it back out an hour later, took another couple bites, then again just felt done, hard to explain why exactly.
To be clear, nothing stopped me from eating more, wasn't technically "full" in the old sense, my head was simply satisfied with what I'd had.
Real test is whether this holds for a minimum of another fortnight, hopefully longer. First time around, reta held for roughly three months before everything faded. Will keep this thread posted on what happens.
