Reta and teso together?

Hey, I'm curious if anyone has looked into combining Retatrutide with Tesofensine? Any experiences you can share would be great!
Thanks in advance.

Why would you? Retatrutide is pretty potent on its own. Tesofensine is risky because of that long half-life, like 9 days. I haven't heard of anyone staying on it long term, maybe a couple months. It's awesome at first, but then the half-life becomes a problem.

Both can also jack up your heart rate, so keep that in mind. There's even a thread here by @peptideusername about how awesome Teso is... until it wasn't.

That's a good way to describe it. It felt amazing initially for me too, but I noticed it was making me irritable and messing with my sleep.

Teso starts off great, but yeah, it catches up. I started at 200mg daily because a study I saw said it had fewer side effects at that dose. Then, after a couple of weeks, I cut it in half to 100mg every day. Two weeks after that, I went to 100mg every other day. I've been doing that for about a week now, and it's been okay so far. Lots of energy, less irritable/anxious. It took about 48 hours to feel normal again when I stopped, but it stays in your system for a while. At 200mg, I had high anxiety, insomnia, and constipation. At the lower dose, I don't have those issues.

I thought this thread was about tesamorelin at first. I don't know about Teso. But I think 0.75mg of tesa, 5 days on and 2 days off, seems to be doing something for me. My scale says my visceral fat is down about 2 points since last month. Who knows how accurate that is, but I'll take the win.

Tesofensine can cause up to around 9% weight loss in studies. It's also a reuptake inhibitor for serotonin, norepinephrine, and dopamine, basically a super antidepressant that's never been studied for depression. Recent studies combine it with metoprolol, a beta blocker, to lessen the effects on heart rate and anxiety-like symptoms. That lines up with what people are saying online. The long half-life isn't ideal either. Mixing it with psych meds could be really dangerous and needs to be researched carefully to avoid interactions.

I thought about using it after losing a lot of weight, but I'd have to stop antidepressants that I know work to take something that's never been tested for depression.

I've never taken meds for anything, luckily. For anxiety, I think CBD is great. I took it when I had bad anxiety during COVID, not sure if it was from COVID or steroids. I took some CBD capsules and felt fine. I'd never take prescription drugs, I've seen too many successful people have suicidal thoughts and side effects.

For anxiety alone, people should take 5-HTP. It's cheap and helps you sleep.

Precautions for 5-HTP: Check with a doctor before using, especially if you're on antidepressants, SSRIs, SNRIs, or other serotonin medications, since it can increase serotonin levels and risk serotonin syndrome. It's not good for people with some medical conditions or high doses without advice.

Hey guys, off topic a little but has anyone tried Kisspeptin-10 instead of HCG? I had to ditch HCG after dealing with cancer, and now my boys are looking sad. Hoping K-10 can help them get some size back. Thinking of doing 0.10ml daily, but I'm not getting it from a compounding pharmacy.

To @Big_Tony_NJ- It might help, but there's not much info on using it that way. Since kisspeptin can't be prescribed, it won't be widely used for a while. You could also try gonadorelin. Some data shows it can produce LH and FSH pulses at higher doses. One clinic uses it twice a week, but that might not be often enough to keep things working down there. It would be great to hear what others are experiencing!

Just wanted to give a quick update for Big_Tony_NJ. I've been trying the K-10 for about two weeks now, so far, nothing huge. I don't see any improvement in size. But the dull ache is gone, and things have dropped a bit. They were riding 'high and tight' since I stopped HCG, which was uncomfortable.

I'm doing pretty good. I upped the K-10 to 150mcg a few times a week, and while things aren't staying 'high and tight' anymore, it hasn't done anything for size. My libido has really taken off, but I'm not sure if that's the K-10 or not. My recent labs showed good DHT/SHBG/Estrogen/Total T levels.

Anyone know of any peps that will make me hungry? I've got a bad IGF-1 deficiency, and my appetite has vanished. I can barely eat without feeling full fast or getting nauseous.

Feeling full or nauseous can be a sign of intestinal issues, too. Could be H. Pylori. You should deal with the cause, not just try to cover it up with drugs that make you hungry. If you have that infection, antibiotics can help kill it, which could fix your appetite problems.

Thanks, I appreciate you saying that. Since I'm not getting anywhere with the doctors, I'll bring that up at my next appointment with a gastroenterologist.

people are biased about glp users because they don't understand how these work. add in not knowing what it's like to fight weight your whole life and yeah, judgment comes fast. gen x doesn't sugarcoat anyway.
