I also think the trial numbers undersell what happens at the higher doses. Several participants have said online that once they hit their goal weight they quietly skipped doses and stashed pens instead of quitting or telling the provider. Not ethical, but understandable when you'd be cut off after the study and could regain. Compliance would probably be better if every participant were promised some follow-up maintenance treatment after the trial ends.
