Reta dosage - time to go up?

Hong Kong Yanpep International
89.2 to 89.3 over the April window with 5 days overseas eating is effectively a hold rather than a gain. The OP's first few injections ramping from 1mg is a similar early period where the first several weeks are establishing blood levels more than driving weight change. The overseas trip variable makes that 100g number essentially noise - the question is what happens across a clean 4-week window without travel disruption.

Week 1 Friday update format after starting on Wednesday is a longer first window than a clean 7 days and it's worth noting when comparing that first window to later weeks. The OP's first few injections ramping from 1mg is the standard starting protocol and the question of when to go up is usually answered by appetite response rather than hitting a calendar date. What does appetite look like compared to pre-medication?

Didn't catch when exactly you got back on reta. Under a month back and you're still climbing the titration curve. That opening 8mg dose following a long pause only lifts your system to about 8mg. Once a full month at that weekly amount passes, the same injection ends up carrying your body closer to double that, roughly speaking. So during that entire opening stretch after restarting, you've genuinely been sitting at a lighter internal amount than you had before stopping.

Much of the extra weight that showed up during your break was probably swelling tied to inflammation rather than genuine fat gain. Getting back on reta likely flushed that retained fluid quickly, there's no realistic way that many pounds of actual fat vanished that fast. While your body's still sorting itself out from that swing, the number on the scale isn't a reliable stand-in for fat levels right now.

During your original run on reta, that early water-driven stall probably never showed up because fat was melting away fast enough to completely bury any minor rebound in fluid that would've followed. This time your rate of losing fat

That's a pretty small amount. I'd suggest bumping up to at least 2mg for a week, then moving to 4mg the week after that.

Make sure you're getting enough protein and carbs while running the third compound.

First month brought roughly nine kilos off. Second month has slowed down some, possibly tied to adding HCG into the mix. This week's drop came to about 0.6kg, running a 2mg reta amount. Hydration also feels noticeably better this week compared to before.

Starting out at 385 lbs means there's still real distance to cover, and you'll almost certainly land on a full dose eventually, I'd argue 12mg ends up being the right target for the best combination of weight loss, maintenance, and long-term health outcomes.
20 lbs in four weeks moves fast, was your weight holding steady before starting reta? Given you mentioned dropping 55 lbs before that, if things were stable even briefly beforehand, a chunk of that recent 20, maybe 10 lbs, could just be water rather than actual fat.
Expect the coming weeks to show a slower, more realistic pace, sustaining over 2kg weekly for any real stretch of time is basically impossible unless someone's carrying a lot of extra weight, eating very little, and staying highly active.
At this rate there's no real rush to bump the dose further unless hunger becomes an issue, though long term I'd lean toward aiming higher rather than settling low. Most people around here will tell you to run the smallest dose that works, and I don't think that advice holds when someone's starting weight is this extreme, provided the side effects stay tolerable.

I began 3 months ago. I take 3mg reta every 6 days, and to go up I inject an extra 0,5 two days after the regular dose.

Above all, reta isnt a sprint. Raise the dose only after two weeks with no loss, and step by no more than .5mg. That should ease how you feel at the moment. Big congrats on the baby! Parenthood transforms things in a good way. Nothing compares to it.

Having shot way past my limit, I restarted Reta at 4mg, mostly to learn how to handle my side effects. At 4mg my weight held still, and 5mg was the same. At 6mg though, I dropped fast. YMMV obviously. I'm 5'4 and was 167 lbs when I hit 6mg. That fits what I keep hearing, 6 mg is the point where lots of people see action, and beyond that supposedly 8 mg or 9 mg. I never read the titration studies, I can only speak for this sample of one.

The usual reta ladder runs 2, 4, 8, 10 then 12mg, stepping every 3 weeks or thereabouts. Half a mg every fortnight is slow, and 1mg is roughly the same speed. Your target of 20kg in 4 months means about 5kg a month. That calls for a much higher and quicker ramp, imo. For reta, 8mg is the ideal zone, so shoot for that as a minimum. You want another 15% of your starting weight gone after already losing a lot. Getting to 30% or more realistically takes 12mg for many people. 8mg can still get you there, just with lower odds. As others mentioned, hold off on tesa until you're at or near goal. It won't drive meaningful weight loss, it's more of a supporting tool.

April 1st was my reta start, 2mg a week microdosed, 1mg Monday and another Thursday, which works for me. I went from 97kg to 92kg today, lifting five days weekly. Daily numbers: 1835 calories with 160g carbs, 55g fat and protein at 175/80g. I'm a 37y male.
