Reta: energy boost or all-day naps?

Subjects on Reta seem to have opposite reactions, some feel energized while others feel drained. What's your experiance? Do you think activity level affects it? For me Trz works better when I move around.

Great question! I actually wrote a pretty detailed explanation of my experiances with Retatrutide and the fatigue I experianced, and why I went back to Tirz. Might be helpful! 🙂

The first month, when I was on .5mg for 2 weeks and then 1mg for another 2, it gave me a lot of energy. Almost jittery. Now I'm in month 4 at 1.5mg, and I've lost about 20 pounds, but I'm dealing with fatigue. I'm even considering taking a break during an upcoming trip. I'm not sure if it's from the lower calories or the peptide itself. It seems to hit me harder right after my shot.

For me, the fatigue was intense. If I wasn't moving constantly, I felt like I was about to pass out. 🥱 After a couple of weeks, I gave up and went back to Tirzepatide. It was like my brain was shutting down. 😵 LOL 🤭

I honestly think the fatigue is because we aren't eating enough. When you cut your calories way back, you're bound to feel tired. It's just less fuel in the tank. I don't think Reta, or any GLP-1, is energizing or sedating on its own. It's about how your body reacts to less food. Just my 2 cents!

My fatigue isn't that bad, but

your original thread is making me wonder if I need more electrolytes. I've been getting dizzy spells, and just drinking water isn't helping. I can deal with the fatigue for a few more months if I keep losing weight, but I'm starting to think Tirz might be better for maintaining.

I started Reta today at 2.5mg. Will post updates weekly. So far, no side effects. I worked out and ran some errands. Hunger is the same. I'm a woman in my early 50s, 6'1, and on TRT for a couple years already.

I'm thinking about trying Reta but worried about the cost as the dose goes up. Seems like you'd eventually get priced out of using it. Anyone have recommendations for affordable sources?

NR and NMN are easy to find online or on Amazon. Running 2-4g daily for six weeks then dropping to 1g after. Energy bump is real but not dramatic.

So glad youre winning again. Im forcing myself to move daily even when exhausted, supposed to tell mitochondria to produce more energy. Could eat cleaner instead of relying on protein drinks.

been in medical menopause for over 20 years, can't do hrt. definitely noticed changes there since starting these meds. drink plenty of water and electrolytes. eyes got dry so i'm using systane drops now. recently started vaginal health stuff and it's helping a bit. have to be careful with my estrogen-positive breast cancer history but got approval for this.
