Reta: How bad could it REALLY be?

I'm never trying it. I have sinus node dysfunction and palpitations. I also have a pacemaker. I would have liked to try it, but I'll skip it. Sema was fine. Tirz has worked great. Tirz/sema and lifestyle changes have been key. Both doctors are on board. If it ain't broke, don't fix it. Losing weight might help your heart. My weight loss helped me. I dropped over 80 pounds in under a year. I only walk for exercise. My cardiologist paused my metoprolol. So far, so good 🤞. Good luck!

We aren't going to do all your research for you. 😉 Also, most of us aren't doctors... Read the studies, like SURMOUNT by EL, and check the number of test subjects. They list side effects and severity. List your concerns and ask members. A racing heart might not worry you or be fatal (according to the studies), but it could be scary for someone with medical conditions. Reta is safe until the side effects put you on the tail end of the Bell Curve, like most meds. Will you be harmed by Reta, its grey market source, or Old No. 7?

I'm worried about some rare forms of cancer popping up.

Ha! Anything's on the table. I'm trying to lose enough weight to get back on my motorcycle. I'm sure THAT will kill me faster, so, whatever. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

I wanted to try reta. I have heart problems. Death is the worst thing that can happen, so I won't touch it.

That's smart. It's easy to get sucked into the hype, but some risks aren't worth it. I'm generally healthy, so I'm willing to roll the dice a bit more.

I've been reading about first hand experiences on another forum. One person said they lost 8 pounds in 2 weeks with ZERO side effects. Hard to believe!

Everyone responds differently of course, but that's definitely encouraging! I'm thinking about asking my doctor about it. I'm pushing 60 and a little extra help with fat loss and nutrition partitioning would be quite welcome.

Someone else online said his wife dropped around 50 lbs in about 8 months! He ended up stopping cause of insomnia. Might try a smaller dose to see if his body adjusts.

It's interesting how quickly these peptides are becoming available, even before full FDA approval. Makes you wonder how they're synthesizing it so early in the trial process.

Buy and sell urges exist but without hunger driving them. Fullness overrides wanting. Still mentally triggered to purchase or taste-test but kids get it first. Feels psychological so staying at 5mg.

food noise isn't really my issue. tirz does well there. think i just stalled out. injuries kept me from working out as much. also on max suggested dose 15mg weekly. micro dosing sema is worth researching especially since it's affordable and available.
