Reta makin' me needle shy?

My vitamin B and D levels are both high-normal. I get them checked with my blood tests (D especially) to make sure I'm not over or underdoing it.

But yeah, I could see how low vitamin D could be a factor.

My vitamin D level is high and I still get allodynia. I just have to dial back the RETA dose sometimes. It moves around on me. Started on my face at first. I reduced my dose until it was gone, and then didn't feel it again for a few months until I went up in dose. Then someone suggested splitting my dose M-W-F. That worked for a bit. But it came back last week, so I skipped my M-W dose and I'm better. Thinking about trying the vitamin B thing. Which one, though, 6, 12....

I'm seeing some chatter about facial changes and aging after losing a lot of weight. It's important to keep up with protein intake, especially when using GLP-1s, to maintain muscle mass. I've been using shakes to help me hit my targets because I have had some nausea.

That's smart. I hadn't really thought about shakes. I've been trying to eat whole foods, but the nausea makes that tough some days. I'll have to add a shake.

I've lost maybe 25lbs and I'm starting to worry about the aging thing I've seen online. Protein shakes are a good idea. I'll try that. Anything to avoid the dreaded 'Ozempic face'!

I agree about protein intake! I emphasize protein with all my patients who are on GLP-1 meds for weight loss. It helps preserve muscle mass during rapid weight loss. The "Ozempic face" some people are talking about is usually just a result of losing a lot of fat in the face, which can make wrinkles and other signs of aging more visible.

had the same with bpc-157, might've been just in my head but i kept injecting at the injury spot anyway. also got knocked out on dose 6 with kpv, had to stop and try something else.
