Reta making anyone else panicky?

Hey @Reese07 - thanks for mentioning Selank! I've been reading about it, and it sounds promising. Has anyone here actually tried it with GLP-1s? I'm a little nervous about adding something else into the mix, but if it could help with the anxiety, it might be worth it.

I can relate to the struggle of adjusting to a 'new' body after significant weight loss.

I was just chilling in bed, then felt anxious. Checked my watch, and my resting heart rate was 100 while I was just lying there.
It's like your mind hasn't caught up to the physical changes, and that can mess with you mentally. Like, I'm still buying clothes that are way too big!

Something someone said about heartrate reminded me of a convo I had with my doctor, who is monitoring my progress. He keeps stressing the importance of strength training while on these meds to help maintain muscle mass and achieve a healthier body composition. It's not just about the number on the scale, but also about improving your overall health and fitness.

I hear you about the 'episode' @Carb-Lean and how it gets dismissed when they can't directly find the cause. When the ER docs couldn't put their finger on stuff, they almost seemed to imply the spike was 'stress', even though I felt calm. Like they didn't believe me that it came out of NOWHERE.

People notice right away. See less every year or so and ask immediately. Those at work for decade saw it happen and fall off. Enjoy support from others. Learned not to care what people think. 99 percent supportive and they might find motivation from realizing this is real.

Hate this for us. No excuse. Usually get stuck in analysis paralysis but got anxious and impatient. Had surgery, about to sleep, found the rep I thought I was talking to. Next morning wasn't the original. Who is this? Have to laugh to keep from crying.
