Hey everyone – long post coming, thanks for reading! I've been researching Reta for ages and finally took my first dose on June 9th. I got a 5mg vial, mixed it with 2ml of BAC water, and started with 0.25mg. Did that for 14 days, but didn't see any change in cravings or weight. So, I bumped it up to 0.50mg on June 23rd.
Problem #1: I read that you should slowly add the BAC to the Reta because of the vacuum. Well, it didn't go as planned and it went in too fast. Could that have messed with the Reta, making it not work? I took my 2nd shot of 0.50mg this past Monday and still no appetite changes.
Problem #2: On Sunday, June 22nd, I woke up with killer foot pain that made me limp. It was all in my foot and felt like nerve pain. The doctor said it was plantar fasciitis, taped it up, and said I'd be better in a week. I went back yesterday and told him I'm still hurting. He seemed puzzled and prescribed an anti-inflammatory. I see him again in 2 weeks. I'm wondering if Reta is the cause. Before Sunday, I had a small ache here and there, but I didn't think much of it (pretty sure it started after the first Reta dose). Saturday was cardio day, so we did a lot of running, which could have made it worse. My whole foot and ankle hurt. It also feels numb, but I can feel touch, so it's weird. Could Reta be causing this?
I don't want to stop Reta, even without seeing results. But I'm stuck: did I screw up the reconstitution, making it useless and causing the foot pain? Would the foot pain still happen if I had done it right? Or is it just a coincidence?
Any thoughts are appreciated!
