I've been looking into compounding pharmacies. Has anyone had any luck getting peptides through them?

I do know some compounding pharmacies are starting to fill prescriptions for certain peptides now. Things like Sermorelin, Ipamorelin, and Melanotan. It seems to be a growing trend with doctors in anti-aging and wellness.

It's all unregulated! Unless you have a doctor's prescription and are getting it from a legit compounding place, you're just hoping you're pinning what they claim you're pinning.

Anyone tried Tesamorelin from any of these sources? I keep hearing about it, but finding a reliable source seems tough.

Someone asked about legit peptides in another thread, might be helpful:

i reconstitute vials days or weeks ahead already. interesting question though — if a vial fails a sterile test, reconsituting and sitting then retesting would be a good experiment. bac water doesn't sterilize exactly, just stops growth. cdc says it won't fully sterilize so that's probably why.

The 28-day rule comes from manufacturer studies under specific conditions—they tested it and it passed, that's what they can legally claim. Doesn't mean it degrades on day 29. BAC water has 0.9% benzyl alcohol to stop bacterial growth. Clean needle every time, no air back into the vial, keep it away from heat and light, and 90 days is very reasonable.

bought some ghk-cu powder and hyaluronic acid serum to mix myself. took 1g powder, dissolved in 2ml distilled water seemed fine. added to the ha serum and shook for 10 minutes. next day everything settled to the bottom. gotta shake hard to mix it back up. any tips to keep it suspended better? or better way to mix before using?

$250 for 10 vials is on the high end and paying more when you first start before knowing the landscape is how almost everyone's story goes. Prices vary significantly across sources and what looks like a deal depends on vial size and concentration. Once you spend more time here the reference points become clearer.

Single-vial sourcing carries higher risk in general - when there's no community track record for a supplier and no accountability structure, the price differential isn't worth the quality uncertainty. Forum recommendations are the most reliable vetting mechanism for sources outside the regulated pharmacy system.

The first purchase experience of getting something different from what was expected and deciding to go ahead anyway is a cautionary story. Two weeks in is still too early to draw conclusions about whether you're getting the right stuff or the right price. What dose are you at and what's the experience been so far?

Starting with just a couple of single vials to see if it works before committing to more is exactly the right approach. 2 weeks in is still the evaluation window - most people need 4-6 weeks at a consistent dose before they have a clear read on whether it's doing anything. The pricing anxiety at the start is real but tends to become less of a focus once the results start showing. What's the experience been so far on appetite?

the conflicting information problem is real and doesn't resolve cleanly - different practitioners have different clinical experience and different risk thresholds, and both can be legitimate. keeping your own notes on what you've tried, what doses, what results, and what side effects is the foundation for having productive conversations with providers who land in different positions on the same compound

Ran into a small online seller yesterday asking 100 euros for one lone vial of reta at 10mg, wild markup just for slapping their own label on it and charging ten times what it should cost.
