Reta progress after 2 months

Hong Kong Yanpep International
Second dose at 1mg and hoping for 3 lbs by next week is exciting but early days. The 283 to 258 in the OP's two months is what a good response looks like over time. Give it a few weeks at a consistent dose before judging the trajectory.

18 lbs in two months split dosing Monday and Friday with no plans to push dosage higher because it's already working is exactly the right mindset. 2 lbs from goal at 2mg/week is a clean result. The 283 to 258 in the OP is right in line with what consistent split dosing looks like.

Week fourteen kicks off! Stats: 5'7, female. Peak weight: 221 (already shed 46 before starting Reta). Starting point: 175. Current: 145 (three pounds down from last check, thirty total since beginning Reta). First target: 160 (hit it!!!). Second target: 140. Dose: took shot fourteen Sunday night, nudged up to 4mg. Blood pressure: 106/63, pulse 57, unchanged since starting. Side effects: mostly the sleep disruption, missing that deep restful kind. Ugh. Plus a day or two of mild nausea/dizziness/fatigue after each shot. Activity: racquet sports several times weekly plus getting back into weightlifting after a long break. Reflections: within five pounds of goal!! Hard to believe, and it happened faster than I expected. Mentally though I still picture myself at 185... such a strange disconnect! There's a small patch of extra skin around my midsection, hoping core work and patience tighten that up. Fingers crossed! Time to shop for some new bikinis!

For my fellow data nerds, here's a rundown on the phase 3 trial results for Reta. Genuinely strong numbers.

Participants kicked off at 2mg weekly, then climbed monthly to 4mg, 9mg, and finally 12mg. High amounts obviously aren't right for everybody, but 8mg looked like the sweet spot for several outcomes. If you follow Dr. Alex Tatem's channel, there's a solid breakdown video from him worth searching up on your own.

Reads almost identical to my own eight-month run, only on Reta, slightly lower doses. Started at 2mg, climbed to 10mg. Your starting point was a touch heavier than mine. I was at 220, though 215 when I actually began. Bouncing between 159-162 running 6 and 8mg over the last three weeks. Second target was 165-170, so I overshot a bit. Going with 6mg today, see if I can put a few pounds back on. My kid's pushing me toward TRT. Need to book that urologist visit to sort that plus a few other things.
