Reta progress after 2 months

Hong Kong Yanpep International
Second dose at 1mg and hoping for 3 lbs by next week is exciting but early days. The 283 to 258 in the OP's two months is what a good response looks like over time. Give it a few weeks at a consistent dose before judging the trajectory.

18 lbs in two months split dosing Monday and Friday with no plans to push dosage higher because it's already working is exactly the right mindset. 2 lbs from goal at 2mg/week is a clean result. The 283 to 258 in the OP is right in line with what consistent split dosing looks like.

Week fourteen kicks off! Stats: 5'7, female. Peak weight: 221 (already shed 46 before starting Reta). Starting point: 175. Current: 145 (three pounds down from last check, thirty total since beginning Reta). First target: 160 (hit it!!!). Second target: 140. Dose: took shot fourteen Sunday night, nudged up to 4mg. Blood pressure: 106/63, pulse 57, unchanged since starting. Side effects: mostly the sleep disruption, missing that deep restful kind. Ugh. Plus a day or two of mild nausea/dizziness/fatigue after each shot. Activity: racquet sports several times weekly plus getting back into weightlifting after a long break. Reflections: within five pounds of goal!! Hard to believe, and it happened faster than I expected. Mentally though I still picture myself at 185... such a strange disconnect! There's a small patch of extra skin around my midsection, hoping core work and patience tighten that up. Fingers crossed! Time to shop for some new bikinis!

For my fellow data nerds, here's a rundown on the phase 3 trial results for Reta. Genuinely strong numbers.

Participants kicked off at 2mg weekly, then climbed monthly to 4mg, 9mg, and finally 12mg. High amounts obviously aren't right for everybody, but 8mg looked like the sweet spot for several outcomes. If you follow Dr. Alex Tatem's channel, there's a solid breakdown video from him worth searching up on your own.

Reads almost identical to my own eight-month run, only on Reta, slightly lower doses. Started at 2mg, climbed to 10mg. Your starting point was a touch heavier than mine. I was at 220, though 215 when I actually began. Bouncing between 159-162 running 6 and 8mg over the last three weeks. Second target was 165-170, so I overshot a bit. Going with 6mg today, see if I can put a few pounds back on. My kid's pushing me toward TRT. Need to book that urologist visit to sort that plus a few other things.

61, T2D, reta from March. Weight 235 to 162, A1C now 4.8 versus 9.2 before. Metformin, statins and BP pills gone, SGLT2 stays. Twelve mg for the final loss year, nine now, easing toward six. Slight regain, but a steady 170 feels better. I call the T2D reversed rather than remission... a deliberate soda a few times pushed sugar up briefly, yet it came back to seventies and low eighties within two hours. All other labs perfect. No intention to quit without a medical reason. Clomiphene 25 mg twice weekly lifted total T from around 300 to 550. Libido lingers but weaker, no big deal at my age.

Very early on i accidentally injected 2mg reta when i meant 1mg, it certainly got my attention. Never made that mistake again. Otherwise, my biggest regrets would be a couple kits i ordered before i knew better. Money put into this hobby has never felt like a waste. I recently put a fair chunk into supplements and peptides, and i couldnt be happier or healthier. Over 30 vitamins daily, and 7-10 pins a day spread over 10-12 peps. Sleep is superb, my drive is at an all time high, morning runs excite me, my skin glows (tret helps) and fatigue is gone. Feeling my best in ages.

58M, 6'. Started reta 1mg on 1/30/26 at 217lbs, with BPC, TB and also GHK-Cu running. Lower appetite, low motivation. 2/13: 211, up to 2mg after two weeks, clearer appetite drop, nausea, some lethargy, so more protein, psyllium and magnesium. 3/6: 200, went to 3mg, felt nauseous and unwell within days, so back to 2mg next time. 3/13: 195. More mucus in the back of the throat, maybe lawn work or peptides. 3/20: 198, thicker mucus, could be pollen and sneezing. 3/27: 195, thinking of stopping all peptides to check. 4/3: 196, stopped everything. 4/10: 195, a week off, symptoms slowly easing. 4/20: 198, restarted BPC (known good), no symptoms. 4/23: 199, added TB.

Reta via a compounding pharmacy, almost 2 months in. Dose is 3mg once weekly, Sunday morning. Appetite suppression hits hard Sunday evening and lasts until roughly Thursday lunch, and by Thursday evening I don't feel held back. February took off about 16 pounds from my 219 start, so I'm curious what this month will show. It's a big recomp so the scale matters little to me. Two inbody scans done, third tomorrow along with a dexa scan. Fun tip: check local colleges for big dexa discounts, mine is 75 instead of 200. The glucagon angle really interests me, but I won't chase high doses out of curiosity while I'm losing. Food intake sits near 1500 calories, weights five days weekly, no cardio. Hitting my protein goal is hard, an extra 50g a day would put me in a better spot.
