Reta Results - Worth It?

Hong Kong Yanpep International
The side effect ceiling is often what determines the max dose more than whether the medication is still working. The people who go higher on Reta are usually the ones who find the side effects stay manageable as the dose climbs. How has it felt at the level you are currently at?

The 9% at 1mg data is the piece that made a lot of people curious about Reta before going high dose. Starting GLP-1s for hunger control after losing weight is a different goal and Reta seems to work for that too. The Tirz and Cagri base you have makes the Reta trial more of a comparison than a first start.

The washout question when switching between GLP-1 agents is genuinely underexplored - half-life overlap during a switch means both agents are active at some level for several weeks. That matters for attributing effects or side effects to one compound versus another.

The approval question is the real timeline to watch. The current results from research use are building the case but having it available through normal channels changes the access picture significantly. How much headroom do you still have left on the Tirz/Cagri combo before you need to make the next move?

Kicked things off with the smaller and larger reta vials both, wasn't sure at the time how quickly I'd transition off tirz or what kind of dose curve reta would end up needing.

Refrigerated vials lasting ten weeks works fine for me. Burned through three of the smaller vials between January 10th and March 30th before finally mixing my first larger one. Looking back I probably could've just started with the larger size and eaten some leftover product, but it honestly doesn't matter much either way.

Was only running a 5mg tirz dose at the point I switched. Kept my injections small and frequent so if side effects hit, I wouldn't be stuck waiting days for levels to drop back down. Never actually ran into anything bad enough to slow down for... overall I'd call the whole transition a real success on speed, ease, and how well it worked.

Unfortunately my tracking app won't graph both compounds together, and it doesn't backdate to when I actually started reta, so I'm stuck looking at two separate charts instead of one.

If something's working well for you on a particular GLP-1, don't jump ship purely out of curiosity or hoping for something even better. No promise it'll suit you just because others rave about their results. Everyone reacts differently.

Made the swap over to Reta with no real reason behind it. Quit after two weeks thanks to three straight days of severe diarrhea. Just wasn't right for my body. Reverted to the original medication and everything settled right back down.

Well, after two weeks running the third compound at 2mg, I think it's going to pair really well with my existing regimen alongside the dual-action medication... so I went ahead and ordered four more kits last night to pad the stockpile. Was that a bad move? Ha.
