Reta sides at tiny dose?

Hong Kong Yanpep International
Yeah, the side effects showing up before the actual appetite suppression effect is the typical Reta timeline. The first dose often just introduces the nausea and fatigue before the suppression piece catches up. Second dose or beyond is usually when you get a better read on whether it is working.

Zero side effects after 0.5mg and then titrating too fast after that is the pattern that gets people. The no appetite for 2 days at 0.5mg was probably the response - it just didn't continue because the body adjusted faster than the dose went up. Slower titration from a low start usually shows what it's actually doing.

The baseline supplement work before starting is worth doing - B vitamins and vitamin D at good levels removes those as variables if early side effects appear. The diet diversity point is also real; eating the same foods repeatedly tends to amplify intolerance responses that variety spreads out.

Curious about your microdosing idea for reta, especially given tirz didn't do much for your appetite at a standard dose. Think reta works through a different mechanism entirely, or what's your theory?

Interesting. For mine, even 2mg daily doesn't give me any side effects, results are pretty mild too, nothing dramatic. Given how pricey it runs, you're pretty lucky getting by on just 0.5.

Three straight days of bad diarrhea about two weeks into Reta. Just did not agree with me. Zero issues on Tirz though. Was not from bacteria or endotoxins either, just did not sit right for my body.

The research showed most people worked through the side effects by around the halfway mark. Everything I've come across suggests reta's gentler than tirz overall, though it can take longer to kick in because the starting doses are so low.

Dropped roughly 10 pounds and shrank a size or two within my first month on Tirz, though most of that landed in the opening two weeks. Things leveled off after, never really dipping further, but I'd say body fat kept trending down regardless.

Switched over to Reta now, running split doses of 1mg each, totaling 2mg weekly. Just handled this week's second injection earlier today.

Worth mentioning, the morning after my very first 1mg dose I woke up with an anxiety spike. My pulse felt elevated and wasn't settling down... which is basically the trigger for a full anxiety episode and, well, that's exactly what happened, lol.

Honestly Reta doesn't register with me nearly as strongly as Tirz did aside from that, though my energy levels do seem a bit better lately. I do notice I sweat more easily now though.

I'm running Tirz these days, Reta just didn't do anything for me. Mind sharing the amounts and timing when you run both Reta and Tirz together? Interested in giving that a try.
