Reta vial size? What works best?

Curious to know what others are doing. What vial volume do you buy, and frequency of dosage? I picked up three 10mg vials, and mixing with 100ml of BAC leaves me with about two doses each while on 5mg. As I increase dosage, I want to find out what vial size works best for others.

Any advice is appreciated.

At 5mg weekly, you're looking at 20mg monthly. Getting a pack of 20mg vials would last around 10 months at that dose.

If you're planning on increasing, consider 30mg+ vials. Buying a multi-vial kit can save you some money compared to individual purchases.

I dose 3-4mg every 10-14 days (not aiming for weight loss), and I prefer 18mg or 20mg vials. Big enough to save a bit, but small enough to use within 2 months – that's my limit for reconstituted peptides in the fridge. So, you'd likely want at least that size. I usually go for grey market sources, but if I were to buy single vials domestically, I'd spend more and probably go smaller

I messed up and bought a pack of 10mg vials. (I tested with two domestic vials first). At 4mg, I used two vials. Now I'm at 6mg, so one vial is one dose! The next dose needs two injections! I'm using 24mg vials now. I'll save the other eight 10mg vials for when I'm taking 10mg. Keep the logistics in mind when you increase your dose.

I've been on this for a couple years. I like to use a vial only once or twice. I use 10mg of reta and buy both 10mg and 20mg vials. I know it's more expensive, but I don't care.

Sorry if this is dumb, but what is 'reconstitution'? Is that just mixing the powder with the bacteriostatic water?

I agree with @PulseIRL, thinking about your future dosage is critical. There are calculators online, but it's pretty simple. Think about your maximum weekly dose, and choose a vial size that lets you use it up within a reasonable timeframe. I'm also conservative and try to finish vials within 60 days, like I said before.

Not dumb at all. It's a crucial step. When you add the bacteriostatic water, make sure to let it run down the side of the vial instead of shooting it directly onto the powder – apparently, that can damage the peptide.

I started November 2023 at 307 pounds, standing 5'7", age 63. Now I'm at 170! Went from wearing size 24 jeans down to size 8. This med has transformed my life ever since I discovered I had type 1 diabetes. Still on it for upkeep and everything's fantastic. Hope I can motivate someone else out there.

I'm using a 31g 5/16 and it works great for me, though it bends sometimes. My friend just started and her skin is thicker so the needle keeps breaking on her. Does anyone have a better size recommendation for thicker skin?

One vial works great, next one feels like barely anything. Same pattern with every brand - nine works amazing then moving to twelve brings sudden hunger back. Has to be my body adapting, not the actual dose. Sleep and stress probably play a bigger part than I think.

One thing I learned the hard way is that when you space out your doses longer than the half-life, your body needs time to get back to steady state where the peptide works best. Takes about 4 weeks to get there. I kept wondering why my appetite suppression wasn't as strong, and that was basically it.

Use 29-gauge needles without issues. Have pens too and those are easiest. With regular needle, people hold it on skin pushing. Better to hold inches back and jab - usually less pain. Trial and error what works. Good online videos show technique.

I'd add KPV to the stack from a systemic healing angle. The whole stack wouldn't even be terrible. Also look into NMES/TENS units—insurance might even cover it. Anabolic stuff does exist but comes with serious side effects I won't recommend. Talk to your doctor about what they think.

Sounds like you've got it right. Comes down to risk tolerance. Lots here use vials past four weeks. On my first, I went ten weeks. Proper sterile work, BAC water, cold storage = no problems. Honestly, skip filtering and I'd worry way more than using a vial at 28+ days. Contamination risk (staph's shown up in vials recently) beats age risk.
