Same pants, 9 months later!

I'm curious, why do you only weigh yourself once a month? Is it to stay more motivated, seeing bigger changes than you would weekly? Or is there another reason? Congrats again! 60 pounds is an amazing achievement. You look like you're standing taller with confidence!

I can definitely see the loss around your midsection. That's fantastic! That's where most of my weight is as well, but when I lose it, it comes off my whole body evenly, like peeling an onion layer by layer. It's very slow and frustrating, especially when I see people who lose 20 pounds and go down two or three sizes, but I lose the same and don't see or feel any difference. Years ago, I went from size 14 to size 4-6 over two years in college. Did my family notice when they saw me that summer? Nope. One sister measured her hips against mine! I try to tell myself it's better to be healthy than worry about other peoples' perceptions. Anyway, congrats on your progress, keep going, you're doing great!

What kind of diet did you follow? Did you also exercise?
Personally, I've found that focusing on protein has really helped me control my appetite on this journey. I aim for about 100g a day and try to get in some kind of movement most days, even if it's just a walk.

It's so inspiring to see people achieving their goals! I agree with Hank_25, protein is key! I also try to incorporate a lot of non-starchy veggies to keep me full and satisfied.

I started around 240, and now I'm hovering around 180. Still got a ways to go, but feeling so much better already!
That's wonderful progress! Just remember, slow and steady wins the race. It's not just about the weight, it's about overall health and well-being.
