Savings on Sema? Whoa.

I was curious and decided to check how much I was dishing out on food and eating out before and after starting on Ozempic back in June of '24. I knew I was spending less, but the actual numbers surprised me. I can't believe how much I was mindlessly spending on everything before. This is just for me, no family here.

March: $910
April: $795
May: $985

October: $570
November: $620
December: $455

I'm saving enough to more than cover the cost of the medication (which is about $250 for me). Crazy...

I've saved a ton by not eating or drinking as much. I now max out my retirement accounts every year. I've also set aside enough cash to pay for a cosmetic procedure without going into debt.

Me too! My restaurant and grocery bills are practically half what they used to be. I just have to watch myself and not overbuy at the store, or things will spoil before I can use them.

The only foreseeable issue: you'll need to buy new clothes pretty quickly. So those savings might just go towards a new wardrobe!

Omg same!!! I saw such a HUGE difference in what I was spending on groceries and stuff when I started my meds. You're paying for the meds themselves which is a lot of $ but you def save when it comes to buying food

I noticed that some people are starting sermorelin treatments. Has anyone looked into that as an alternative? I saw one person mention they're paying $249 a month. I wonder if it's a good option to consider.

I saw a thread where someone mentioned they're paying only $25 a month for their diabetes medication with a coupon. It's amazing how much prices vary!

It's crazy how much drug prices differ in other countries. Some people say they only pay a few bucks in Australia. It's enough to make you want to move!

I saw someone mention 300 mcg of Sermorelin before bed paired with 100 mg of Tri-amino. They said they experienced increased lean muscle mass and leaned out even more. Sounds promising!
