Scale ain't moving? You're not alone...

Just a friendly reminder: weight loss isn't always a straight line down. I hop on the scale every morning to get a good average, and some days I'm up a bit, some days down. Sometimes the number just sits there for days, even when I'm eating right. Gotta trust the process – the scale will eventually catch up to your efforts!

I feel like I should be taking measurements. I've been so focused on the scale, I haven't even thought about that. Good idea!

Yeah, measurements are key! The scale can be a liar sometimes. I get weighed at my doctor's, and they do waist measurements too. Sometimes those inches tell a better story than the poundage.

I agree about measuring! I had some old work pants in the back of the closet, and I couldn't believe how big they were compared to my current size. Totally different!

It is very important to remember that these meds aren't magic.

Weight loss isn't a race, it's a marathon.
That is so true! If you're not seeing results, you might need to look at your calorie intake. I've been on Mounjaro for a while, and if I go over my calorie limit, the weight loss stalls out quickly. A TDEE calculator is a good place to start.

The first few weeks can be all body composition shifts before the scale moves - water retention from inflammation dropping often masks fat loss in the early weeks.
