Scale isn't everything, check the mirror!

It's been almost 3 months since I started the injections, and while the scale hasn't moved a ton, my clothes fit SO much better. Check out these before/after pics! The first one was from late Sept, right before I started, and the second is from today. I'm 30, have type 2, and am only on 0.5 mg.

Hope it's ok to ask - is your insurance paying for it, or are you paying out of pocket? I really want to try it, but I'm worried my insurance won't cover it.

Thanks, everyone! It's hard to see the changes day to day, but then you look back and it's like, wow!

I'm also T2D and I've had similar results. I think it cuts down on inflammation too. My A1c dropped from 12.6 in May to 6.3 in October! It's wild. You look great!

My insurance does cover part of it, thankfully, but I still have a copay each month. It's worth checking with your insurance company!

Weight loss does weird things. Some days you panic about eating everything but the scale keeps dropping anyway. Took ages to stop checking hunger every few hours. Now I just watch the trends instead of chasing daily feelings.

scales are mixed -- half love them half hate them. bought a fancy one thinking it'd track direction better. turns out it's not great at that either. says i gained fat last month but mirror says no. expensive mostly-useless gadget.
