Scale Obsessed? 😂

Okay, so I've got this weird thing I do with my scale. I noticed that if I position my feet just right, and lean a certain way, I can sometimes trick it into showing a lower number. I'm only like, 0.8 lbs away from a weight goal, and I'm over here doing acrobatics trying to hit it. Still not there... maybe if I... nope! 🤣

Haha, Tirz-Dad, I totally do the same thing! Finding that 'sweet spot' on the scale. It's a real thing and can make all the difference somedays! 😊 A little mental boost!

I've been known to do some serious scale gymnastics, but I also try the 'empty lung' trick – exhaling all my air right before I step on, hoping to shave off an ounce or two. The things we do for this... I'm surprised I dont burn more calories with the effort!

Guilty as charged! 😀 My injection day is Saturday, and my weigh-in day is Tuesday. It's taken me nearly a year to *maybe* figure out my scale.

Which scale are we talking about? I've got TWO scales and they both drive me up the wall. One gives me a different reading every single time. The other one is mostly consistent, but usually adds about 0.5lb. Except today it subtracted 0.5lbs! That's my gospel scale today.

OMG! The scale at the doctor's office is straight up EVIL 👹

My old primary care doc used to subtract 2-3 lbs for clothes and stuff. My new one doesn’t 🤷🏻‍♂️.

I had to Google that scale. I suspected it combined weight with body measurements, but some descriptions only mention four sensors. Weird! Bluetooth would be nice. Then I'd need a Bluetooth blood pressure cuff. Got an EKG gadget recently. Seems I'm not dead yet! 👍

I wouldn't trust it too much, but it's probably good for tracking changes. People stress too much about the exact numbers when the trends are what matter most. I've used Garmin for a while. Data from my watch and scale is super useful. I skip weigh-ins when I know it'll be bad. But facing the music can help you learn how you react.

I have been using Renpho for years now. I'm not sure how accurate it is, compared to others, but it tracks data really well from body fat % to visceral fat, water and protein %, body and lean mass.

I considered the newest Hume brand, but my Renpho is just as good for less!
