Scary rebound after titrating down?

Hong Kong Yanpep International
Amazing! How's the down-titration treating you, any trial and error needing dose bumps along the way, or has the decline stayed smooth without hunger getting out of hand?

Remember you having to pause around a surgical procedure. Even a brief break from these medications genuinely scares me. Keep climbing that dose, friend!

I notice a slight difference. Tougher to see big changes when you weren't starting from a large frame. From what I've read, tapering down slowly tends to work best. Might be worth checking with your prescriber's support line for guidance on stopping.

It genuinely worries me. At first the weight came off without much effort on my part, but now I've hit a plateau sooner than expected and hunger's returning even as the dose keeps climbing. Feels like I actually have to overhaul my habits just to hold steady now.

Here we go: sitting around 84.5kg currently. So the weight came off fast again after moving up in dose.
Looking back, might've been partly because the heat wave had my body retaining more fluid than usual.

Also hit a rough patch yesterday. Hadn't been eating much since, well, 2.5 mg basically kills any hunger for me. Food genuinely never crossed my mind. Just got by on coffee, water, and some meat for dinner. Unsurprisingly my body didn't handle that well.

Felt almost intoxicated, unsteady on my feet, and super lightheaded.
Had some soda hoping for quick sugar, didn't do much, took some electrolytes and felt marginally better after lunch, but honestly was nervous about driving home afterward..

Today's a bit better, ate more last night, had fruit and an egg alongside the meat. Going to need to start logging my food to make real progress back in the gym.

If anyone's got quick meal prep suggestions for work, please send them my way, nothing involving that dairy product though, can't stand it. Thanks!

Mood dropped where it had actually improved on the other option, energy tanked, more nausea, and appetite suppression got so extreme that hitting even a small daily calorie count felt impossible, yet zero pounds came off. Talked to a doctor who stays closely plugged into the latest options in this drug class, and apparently some people just don't respond well to that particular combination compound. He genuinely thinks the newer one coming will be a major step forward. Glad to be back on the original option for now.
