Seatbelt success!

Hey everyone! I had a really cool experience yesterday. I got on a plane, and for the first time since starting on this medication, I didn't need to max out the seatbelt. I'd even bought one of those extenders before. This time, I actually had to tighten the belt! It was a little emotional, and I snapped a pic. I wanted to share my win with people who'd understand since most of my friends and family don't know I'm taking anything. You can do this!

I used to travel at around 450 pounds. Needed a seatbelt extender for almost two decades... It's an experience you’ll never forget. Just magical!

I saw someone post about losing nearly 130 pounds since May! Said diet was key but also plays pickleball and does peloton. That's amazing motivation!

I saw someone mention that semaglutide helped them lose 100 lbs this year, but it was because they worked with a specialized team that personalized their dose and focused on gut health and muscle support. No big nausea, kept their energy. Sounds like the way to go!

Could be a blood sugar thing — low blood sugar can feel like what you're describing.

happens to me every time — get super sad and anxious the day after my shot, lasts 4-5 days. skip the injection for a couple weeks and i'm fine. soon as i pin again, crying and anxious all over. it's 100% the medicine, not about eating or anything else. sucks but i'm aware now.

Just got diagnosed with prediabetes and jumped on Mounjaro. I'm pretty anxious about meds in general—got OCD, health anxiety—so I'm freaking out a little. Anyone have tips for starting without spiraling? I keep reading the horror stories and my brain won't stop.

Been through weight loss depression before I ever tried this. It's real. Leanness below a point just tanks mood. Could be weight loss itself in your case, or the med's effect on reward stuff. Either way, worth taking seriously.
