Seeing Progress in the Mirror!

Here's me in the navy tee in the first pic. That was Xmas '23, and I kicked off my T2D med journey around late March '24.

Started around 241. Now hovering around 185. Aiming for 130-ish.

Some backstory: I was pretty stable at ~185 from my late teens until mid-30s. A bit heavy, but all good.

Then, around 2021 during the COVID thing, some chronic stuff popped up, and the weight piled on FAST. Went from super active to basically stuck in a chair. Only in the last year or so have I started to get those underlying issues managed.

So, I'm back to my 'normal' weight, and excited to see where this goes!

I feel this so much. After dropping around 75 pounds, shopping became SO weird! Like, I'm happy I can fit into a size 10 now (was a 16!), but the dressing room lights are not my friend. LOL! Still, grabbing smaller sizes is a great feeling.

Totally get that! My wife's been rediscovering clothes she hasn't worn in ages. Finding old favorites is awesome (except for those bootcut jeans, lol... those are staying in the back of the closet!).

That's amazing! I'm so happy for you. Thanks for sharing your journey; it's really inspiring. I'm down maybe 20 pounds, but I'm aiming for the 160s and needing new clothes. Shopping spree, here I come!
