Seeing real changes! 😊

Visible changes on 2.5mg with T2D diagnosis is the ideal scenario for the medication - the A1C improvement and the early inflammatory changes often show on the face and body before the scale reflects the full picture. Starting late spring and already seeing real changes by now is good pacing.

The PCOS timeline and the slow months between the highlights is exactly the honest version of these posts that actually helps people calibrate expectations. T2D on top of PCOS at 2.5mg and already seeing changes is a strong early signal - the hormonal picture often makes the response more pronounced than in patients without the insulin resistance component. How long until the A1C check?

Second 2.5mg shot for T2D and asking what dosage and eating and exercise all at once is front-loading the variables too early. The OP is still on the lowest dose and already seeing changes - that's the signal to stay where you are and see what it does over a full month before optimizing anything else. What's the A1C starting point?

6 weeks into TRT and already noticing that is a pretty fast response. I hadn't thought about how the medication might affect things beyond just weight but it makes sense that it would. Has the energy changed at all alongside it?

The dose schedule over the first four months is one of the most useful things to know when you're looking at results like this. Starting point and titration pace both change the trajectory significantly. What did the ramp look like - monthly bumps or response-based?

Interesting that you landed a T2 prescription. Curious whether the 2.5mg shots are actually doing anything noticeable for you? Reason I ask, I've dealt with hypothyroidism since early 2001, been on T4 and T3 that whole stretch, and it's still never fully gotten me back to how I felt before my thyroid crashed. Thinking T2 might be worth investigating on my end. What route did you take to get a prescription for it? I'd assumed that one was available over the counter.

Carrying plenty of extra weight myself these days. A bad injury put most of it on, and arthritis in the joints has kept the tougher workouts off limits.

My appetite dropped right from that very first 2.5mg shot. Four rounds of that dose behind me now, and I started on 5mg just four days ago.

Between the injections and sticking to it, I'm 23 pounds lighter over about five weeks this spring, and the number keeps dropping. Genuinely strange going this long without the constant hunger I used to live with.

On both meds currently, and my blood sugar went from full T2D territory to completely normal. Haven't actually lost weight, probably because I was already undereating going in. Just wanted to put my experience out there. Hope it's useful to someone!
