Selank makin' me sleepy?

I just started taking selank twice a day, and I feel so chill that my pulse went down by like 15 beats per minute, and I'm struggling to keep my eyes open. I take a lot of meds to boost the dopamine and serotonin in my brain so I can even function normally. I was hoping maybe I could wean myself off those meds with this stuff. Is it possible the selank is messing with how much serotonin I have? Maybe it's making my meds not work as well? I feel like a zombie. Help me out, anyone know about this stuff?

Selank probably is boosting your GABA system (which is what makes you calm), which is why you're feeling sleepy and your heart rate is lower. It's probably not canceling out your other meds, but working with them, so you're getting too much of a calming effect. Selank affects several neurotransmitters, including serotonin and dopamine, but it doesn't just lower serotonin. Since your medications already boost these, the mixed effect is likely overwhelming your system. Maybe try a lower dose of Selank or taking it at different times than your other meds. See if that helps with the calmness you want, without the zombie-like feeling. If you want to lower your other meds eventually, talk to a doctor so you can find the right balance.

I stopped taking it for a day, then took half the dose I originally started with. I feel much better this time around. It helped and no zombie fatigue and my heart rate is fine. I want to do more research for my own information. I am going to try Semax next...any tips on that one?

I'm new to this peptide stuff, so forgive me if this is a dumb question. Is it better to start with a lower dose of things like Selank and Semax? I see some people saying they get side effects. Wondering if going slow is the way to go.

I keep hearing good things about Selank for anxiety. Been using BPC-157 for a week now, and honestly, my libido has tanked! It's weird, I'm super relaxed, but not in the mood at all. Anyone else experience something like this?

I've read some anecdotal reports that BPC-157 can have a dopamine-blocking effect in some people, which can lead to a loss of drive or even anhedonia. It might be worth looking into if that's what you're experiencing. I also read a few studies in rats about the same side effects.

Whoa, seriously? I had no idea! I'll definitely look into that. Thanks for the info!

Anyone tried stacking MT-2 and PT-141? I'm trying to decide which one to try for libido. My erections are hit or miss, so I'm hoping one of these will help.

I think PT-141 is a version of MT-2 but with less tanning effect, so I think a lot of people only pick one. I've heard both can be great, but some say MT-2 is better. If you're outside a lot, I wouldn't use MT-2 because you might tan too much. If you decide to use them, start with a very low dose because some people get nausea with them. I think it's generally a good idea to start low and increase the dosage as needed.
