Selank & Semax for ADHD? Anyone tried?

Hey everyone,

Has anyone experimented with these peptides for ADHD symptoms? I've been reading up on them, and it seems like they might offer some benefits for focus and cognitive function.

I even found a thread about it on Reddit:

Specifically, I'm curious about the amidate versions. Are they worth the extra cost compared to the standard versions? Also, does anyone know if Adamax is a better alternative to Semax Amidate?

It seems hard to find a reliable source.

Any insights or experiences would be greatly appreciated!

I haven't tried those ones myself. Some folks I know who did didn't see much difference. I think one of the peptide places carries them, you might wanna check.

I'm currently looking into the semax/selank mix. The feedback seems promising, but there have been a few instances of insomnia and slight agitation. I'm using a small dose, around 0.2mg, but some suggest 1mg, which seems excessive for me. I think i saw the one you mentioned being advertised. Also, I've been drinking a mocktail blend that includes Ashwaganda and mushrooms, so that could also be affecting things. Anyone have experiences with Ashwaganda?

That's interesting! I've tried selank before, but not Semax. Selank makes me feel super calm, like I just meditated for hours, haha. I only tried it twice, but each time the calm feeling lasted into the evening. I'm taking 300mcg right now, usually in the morning before work. I'm really curious about the amidate versions, but they cost almost twice as much. Standard selank is cheaper.

Lucky you getting the zen effect from Selank! When I tried semax by itself, I was wide awake all night even dosing in the AM. I tried the Selank and was so fatigued I could not work. I then tried them at the same time at 100mcg ea. and it worked much better, So I mixed them together.. Has anyone had issues with injection site reactions?

Ashwaganda's pretty good. I've heard conflicting opinions on long-term use, like whether to cycle it or not. It definitely helps me stay calm when I'm stressed. But it can also numb good emotions, so it's different for everyone.

I make my own ashwagandha tinctures! It was a lifesaver when I was having really bad test anxiety. Everyone I've given a bottle to loves it and asks for more. I've also been experimenting with holy basil and st john's wort. I like both, but you have to be careful with the dose because they can make you sleepy. And with St. John's Wort, you have to be careful if you're taking antidepressants because it can increase serotonin.

I'm planning to try selank and semax soon! I've read that it's best to take selank at night and semax in the morning. Supposedly, that's how a doctor doses it, based on a study. That "afterglow" effect all day sounds amazing. Thanks for sharing your experiences!

I was using 300mcg of selank at first, but the effects seemed to fade. Now, I'm using 450mcg. I think I noticed something at that level, but not a huge change. I'm testing some other peptides right now, so I haven't gone back to Selank yet. I do have more selank and semax, so I might try it again soon. I've been taking DSIP at night, and it's been helping me sleep. Hope this helps!

I've tried a few different Semax versions and mixed them with a couple other nootropics (Phenylpiracetam and TAK-653). Adamax is the best by far. It costs more, but at around $25/month (if you don't use it every day, which I don't recommend) it's not too bad. Adamax lasts longer, isn't as "buzzy" as Semax and NASA Semax, and gives a more intense feeling throughout the day. I pin 15-20u early AM, never more than 20, generally 15-17u, mixed with 2.5ml bac water. I suggest 3x a week, and choose your days based on how much brain power you need.

Thanks for sharing your experience with Adamax, @Hustle! That's really helpful. I'm always looking for ways to boost cognitive function when I'm feeling foggy. It's good to know that shorter cycles may be more helpful. I appreciate the dosing info as well!

Hey, has anyone with ADHD who's using a GLP-1 like Ozempic noticed a change in their focus? I saw someone mention they felt sharper... just curious!

That's an interesting question, @GenePath. I've read some anecdotal reports about improved mental clarity with GLP-1s. It could be related to better blood sugar control or reduced inflammation in the brain, but more research is definitely needed.

That's so interesting about the GLP-1s, my sister has been on one. I'll have to ask her if she's noticed anything with her focus! I'm always looking for an edge!

If I get decent results with this, I'll totally share! Not gonna lie though, I get pulled into stuff that promises energy. Something tells me it's not really a physical thing but more that I need to work on the mental side. My anxiety gets me wound up, burns me out, and my social battery stays stuck at like 25%. Might be time to look into Semax or Selank.

Got both in spray form and ready. Thinking I might just try the first one this weekend and hold off on the second. Already deal with high baseline anxiety without adding more.

Just a heads up - Neffy goes in the flappy nostril part aimed toward the forehead, no breathing needed. Semax, selank, and epithalon are different - those go deeper into the nasopharynx pointing back.
