Lost 60 pounds over two years, averaging about half a pound weekly. Mine came in distinct phases with long stretches of stalling. The first 25 took roughly four months, then things held steady for around a month, followed by another 15 over a couple months. The final 20 have mostly happened this past year. Deliberately eased the pace back to let my system adjust and preserve muscle mass. Also intentionally avoided losing weight once I began training for this particular race back in March, knew training performance would suffer running a deficit.
In my personal, non-professional opinion, losing weight while staying genuinely active tends to be harder and slower since you need enough fuel on board and can't afford to sacrifice muscle. If you've been running the single-pathway medication over six months and averaging under half a pound weekly, might be worth discussing an adjustment, otherwise I'm firmly in the slow-and-steady camp. You've got this!!
