Sema changed my life!

I've battled weight issues forever. My mom put me on some weird grapefruit diet when I was like, 10. I was pushing 210 by the time I got to high school. Mid-30s, I was almost 260. I really wanted to be healthier. I started hitting the gym (did like, a dozen half marathons) and got down to about 220. After that, my weight kind of bounced between 220 and 250 for years. It messed with me physically, but mentally it was even worse. I tried everything under the sun. Nothing worked, long term.

Last year, I was around 240. I figured I'd give sema a shot - seemed like the only thing I hadn't tried. I wasn't expecting much, honestly. Another disappointment, right?

Now I'm about 160. (41, 5'8"). I didn't think this was even possible. Sema gave me my life back. Yeah, the stomach issues were rough sometimes. Trying to eat enough so I wasn't completely wiped out was a challenge. But I'd do it all over again in a heartbeat. Best decision ever.

I've had high cholesterol since I was a kid. I was borderline diabetic. My bloodwork a couple months back was perfect. Seriously perfect.

And my head's in a better place too. Still working on that. But today, I'm gonna celebrate.

If you're thinking about starting: seriously, this is the best thing I've ever done. Hands down. Easy? Nope. Cheap? Nope. Worth it? Absolutely. ❤️

I get why people are worried about the price, but I'm actually saving money on food. I think I might break even by the end of the year.

Congrats! You deserve to feel awesome!

Aim for 90g of protein and under 40g carbs and you'll feel amazing. You already are, but you'll feel even stronger. I was stressing about hair loss, lol. What a transformation. I'm so happy for you. Keep it up.

What a difference! I lost about 30 lbs. It helped me learn to eat better, even after I stopped the medication. Changing your lifestyle is key.

Hey A1C_Down, great job! Just wanted to say keep an eye out for any unusual side effects. I saw a story where someone's weight loss hid some serious underlying issues. Always good to be vigilant!

I saw a scary story about someone who lost weight too fast and it turned out to be cancer. So scary! But it masked the symptoms because everyone just thought it was the meds working. Definitely listen to your body!
